The Rescued Monk Sticker: A Story Sticker about friendship, cookies, and reclaiming joy

Sometimes reclaiming joy looks like a friend showing up at a garage sale to rescue a cookie jar.

The Rescued Monk started with a family story.

After my parents passed away, there were a few things I wished I had kept—including a monk-shaped cookie jar that had been part of my childhood. Then one day, there it was on Facebook. Someone in my family was selling it at a garage sale.

I knew I couldn't go get it myself.

But my friend could.

She rearranged her Saturday, went to the sale, bought that ridiculous little monk and brought him home to me.

And suddenly something that could have represented hurt became something completely different: a reminder of friendship, showing up for people, and reclaiming joy.

That's why I turned him into a Story Sticker.

Maybe you've had something sentimental slip away. Maybe you understand complicated families. Or maybe you've been lucky enough to have a friend who quietly showed up when you needed them.

This little monk is for you.
